The Independent Gazette is currently looking for volunteer Initiative Coordinators in each of Pennsylvania's 67 counties. There may be more than one coordinator per county, and we welcome anyone who has a passion for civic engagement and helping keep their community informed.

- Environmental Health & Awareness
- Equal Voting Rights for Every Registered Pennsylvania Voter

Representative Jamie Flick authored and introduced House Bill 1397, legislation designed to allow video and audio recording of Pennsylvania court proceedings, with appropriate judicial safeguards and exceptions. The bill seeks to increase transparency, accountability, and public confidence in the judicial system by giving Pennsylvanians greater access to court proceedings.
Pennsylvania is one of only a handful of states that still broadly prohibit courtroom cameras. |
